Battlefield 3:Help! Game Crashes all the time

So the obivious issue is that EA has destroyed this game but I was wondering if anyone has had any luck getting this piece to run stable. Since the last update on of three things happens. Blue screen, Freeze, or black screen. This issue has gotten worse with the last BF patch whats odd is I have two different rigs running this game and both are having major issues.

Main PC
Intel i920 (not overclocked everything default for sake of testing game)
6GB Ram
Evega 570GTX (latest video drive)
Windows 7 64-bit pro

Second PC
Intel i3
4GB ram
GTX 460
WIndows 7 32-bit

Any settings that seem to cause this issue to occur more often?

Sorry but mine works fine. I had a few crashed right when it was first release but nothing for ages. I have had some high ticket servers crash on me and kick everyone out but the client seems ok.

Just uninstall the game and re-install it. All your multiplayer settings will be saved in the Origin cloud. I did this myself last week as I was re-installing windows....

Suggest, uninstall BF3, update video drivers, then reinstall game. I have not noticed any crashes after recent patches myself, I guess crashes are common enough with most games these days... Poor quality control...

Yeah I have the latest drivers, I will try uninstalling. I have a SSD sitting in the box still from months ago so it will give me a reason to install that too.

Odd. I haven't had any issues with BF3 other than when I had my 7970's, but that wasn't just limited to BF3, that was poor drivers across the board. On my main machine with 2x GTX 680's I haven't had any problems.

My laptop's a Lenovo Y470 with an NVIDIA 550M. I tried updating the drivers to the latest mobile WHQL's maybe 3 weeks ago and had issues with extreme slowdown in BF3. I rolled back to the previous drivers and it was fine, so it seems updating to the latest drivers isn't always the best idea.

That's what I am thinking too. I haven't had it crash in quite awhile.

my pc is very similar to your 2nd rig but i havent had a crash in ages.
i3 540, 4gb ram, gtx 550ti

This weekend I unistalled the game from both my machines and it is still crashing on both. I am not sure what the hell could be causing it. The second machine has nothing overclocked and never has.
