    Binary Domain! -Opinions?

I just viewed the review of Binary Domain(PS3) on Gamespot/IGN,this game looks like my cup of Cappuccino, topped with chocolate sprinkle.Mass Effect similar style gameplay, with I-robots as your opposing nemesis, and perhaps a decent enough story thrown within the mix.Anyway's before I rush out and purchase it,I'll like to hear from anybody here who actually played it,what their thoughts on Binary Domain are,bad points and good points, pluses and minuses etc.Cheer's

I am not any help but from everything I keep hearing it sounds like it is a very solid game. There is a demo out for it. I think it's like $40 on Steam.

I tried the demo on steam, it looked interesting but as it refused to let me use anything but my gamepad even when it was not plugged in i uninstalled it after about 5 minutes of shouting at the menus.

Even when I clearly chose keyboard and mouse controls it used the xbox controller buttons ingame.

Saw the reviews and it looked awesome so i picked it up.

Though i must say IGN, Gamespot and most of the major western reviewers are overly harsh reviewing Japanese made action games. I bet if this was called COD-Future wars or some crap it would get a 9/10.

a little curious how the story goes as well as the AI loyalty gimmick.
I did play the demo on Xbox and the combat is solid, might try it on PC tonight and play the demo to completion.

    Re: Binary Domain! -Opinions?

Im about 5hrs through i think. Its a really good game, enemy AI is excellent...your own AI guys, not so much.

The game looks incredible though, its in the same league as uncharted and Gears of war in my opinion. Character animations are really good, the enemy 3d models are spectacular and the characters while a bit stereotypical are actually all quite likeable.

Its kinda like uncharted + GoW + iRobot Movie.

Really good, pick it up if youre looking for a new singleplayer game.

Seriously guys, get this game its friggin epic. Some of the boss battles are insanely cinematic.

Its a got a well set difficulty on default, difficult but you always have a chance, makes you really take the big enemies seriously.

Ill say it again this game is as good as Gears or War, God of War or Uncharted. Its polished an has a completely difference atmosphere from the others. Its an excellent underatted game from Sega.

Yeah, it's kind of weird the way they implemented settings.
There is a configuration utility in the main directory to change settings including the display icons.
A lot of these external configuration utilities going around.
A patch update makes mouse aiming and other stuff better.
