    Well, I didn't get very far. But it was like (spoilers for the human story):

    Go attend this party. Go rescue these people. Go find out who made this piece of paper. Go attend this other party.

    Like I said earlier, generic stuff. It's all connected in some way, I guess, but not in a way that's intriguing and urges me to push onward. And the story quests themselves were pretty lackluster in terms of combat and gameplay... kill a few mobs, kill a few more, kill a few more, random people talking in a cutscene, finished.

    As opposed to a story you can invest in and find yourself dying to find out what happens next. That's what I'm hoping it develops into, even just shades of something like that. I should really replay the original GW so I have something to compare it to, I barely remember it at this point.

    Press H then the 2 swords icon is the PvP button. The same PvE character your created would jump to level 80 with all traits/skills available but with default pvp equipment.

    Didn't played GW1 so no idea about the story yet. Might ask my brother then

    It's certainly interesting the changes they made. Seems significantly more MMO-influenced.

    The cap is 80? Geez. It was 20 in the first game. Not that that's particularly a bad thing, but a big change.

    Yeah pretty sure they aimed it at MMO players in mind. They incorporated the RvR of DAoC in it as well. Yep 80. 70 points to distribute on Traits.

    BWEs! Nothing like saying up 3 days. Most fun of any MMO I've played, but I'm not to much of an MMO fan. Highest is a level 13 guardian, been PVPing too much to level. Any one else in crystal desert?

    Also a guardian. Hows the pvp? haven't touched it yet mostly doing WvW. Rewards? Skill balances?

    BWE2 was a lot more balanced due to the trait tier changes. Still some bugs like the infinite endurance engineer and no cooldown unload mesmer, but there are now more then 1 viable build for each class.

    Non bugged skills aside the power balance is ok, but i think there are some serious issues with balance between pvp, wvw and pve. Example being an ele's power level in pve and wvw being fine but more lackluster in the aoe light 5 man tournament side or the mesmer clones being great for wvw or pvp but lackluster in trash-mobs-die-quickly pve.

    PVP rewards are shaping up nicely. I hope they a) add more content. b) award "better" items for tournament play over random 8 mans (if they do, I did not notice). C) make more of a difference between bronze and gold chests and make the chests of different tiers different. It's the first run at it though so they may be different and I was vastly unlucky, but the only difference i noticed was the higher tier chests awarding 10 shot bags and dye.

    Well they've announced the Launch Date and final Beta Weekend Event so I'll try to check PvP for the last event.
