Agreed, they only make it "3d" to be able to charge more for the tickets , and none of my friends think the glasses make the colors dimmer but I'm glad someone else saying it for once.

As for the film it was really good and has been said hulk stole the show

And that's just in the States!
Seems Joss did a really good job - should be down here before long, I hope.

I'd have to agree with Risco in that it was better than all the other movies except Ironman 1.
To Mark Ruffalo all I have to say is Bravo. Any future Hulk films should star this man for sure.

    Best part?

    Re: Just seen Avengers Assemble

Disappointing... having people like Thor, Ironman and some spoon throwing arrows... didn't work for me. Hulk was ace as was Ironman (Ruffulo and Downey acting everyone off screen as usual), however... the rest just didn't work, Ironman v's Aliens... Mmmmm. Still it's not a serious film... but seriously Captain America needs to bog off home and hit punchbags... the original film was appalling, and he's the most uesless superhero I think I've seen... still, amazing that his shield can now withstand Thors Hammer rofl. I know this is part of the original type stuff but... just didn't like it. Think my problem stems from Ironman being pretty realistic in the first two films, and putting him in this cast doesn't feel right somehow... but hey... who am I, never read a comic in my life lol.

5/10 from me... enjoyable and very funny in places but that's' about it. I'll hide away now as I seem in a massive minority.

Obviously, not a comic fan or evenly remotely aware of the characters...no surprise you didnt enjoy it.

    1. Captain Americas shield is made from Vibranium, which absorbs or channels vibration away, which is why when Thor hit it with his hammer the shield was so effective. Its less effective against not impact attacks.

    2. Captain America may be strong, but he is not in the same league as Thor and the Hulk, they make this clearly evident in the movie and dont try and make him seen as a Juggernaut, case in point the scene where he is fighting back to back with Thor and is clearly shown to be struggling. He is used for his leadership and tactical abilities.

    3. Ironman fights and has fought wierd enemies all the time, Mandarin being one of the major ones. Its also not odd to see Ironman with the Hulk, because he is often used to stop Hulks rampage and even has a specialist Hulk Armor to control the Hulk.

However i think that Hawkeye and Black Widow were completely useless, the scene where they are all ready and loading up is almost laughable to see Black widow reloading a 9mm handgun magazine and Hawkeye an arrow compared to the power the rest have. Blackwidow was clearly there just to provide some motivational boobs and Hawkeye was there well...because aquaman would have been even worse.
I pray that there will not be a Hawkeye or BlackWidow movie.
