The game was awesome, my friend was talking to me how disappointed he is in the 360, then I tell him to get that game, and now he loves it again LOL

Did anyone swim under the water yet? AWESOME!

I keep beaching boats trying to clear big islands :(

This game is so much fun. I even managed to do a base jump.

Turn it off, there is an option under video [thumbup]. I thought that was particularly great, as the only other game that has this option is GTA 3.

As for the game, it's great to see the other comments here and the variety of opinions on this game. It's definitely not for everyone, but I enjoyed the hell out of it and will definitely try the final version to see how it is.

I just downloaded this tonight, expecting it to be utter crap.

Personally, I thought it was GREAT! Sure, the enemy character models suck ass, but I LOVE the lighting and motion blur in this game. The only thing I can complain about is the somewhat wonky controls.

Personally loved the demo! Mix in GTA + Mercernaries + Pilotwings... tres-cool. My only complaint in the GFX dept is the enemy character models... but the environments, especially when zoomed from afar, are gorgeous and move smooth like butter at 60fps.

This game could very well be the sleeper hit of the year (much like games like Beyond Good and Evil were).

Agreed. The controls are really, really weird at first, but you get used to them after about 15 minutes or so. I played through the demo a couple of times, and I don't want to do it any more for fear of getting tired of it too quickly for the retail game.

I don't ever want to put a game like this in the same category as BG&E, as it's going too much for the "cool" factor, but I definitely agree that it'll be a sleeper hit.
