    3x Intel X25-M G2 80gb Raid-0 or Corsair Force 3 240gb

    Same space, same price.

Here's how I have it. The X25-M's would cap to around 500-600mb/s reads due to SATA2 limits and 300mb/s writes on both compressible and incompressible data. The Corsair would cap to around 500mb/s reads, 500mb/s writes on compressible data and 200mb/s writes on incompressible data. I would lose Trim with the Raid-0 and would have to rely on garbage collection. A single X25-M G2 pushes 35000 IOPS and should scale linearly with Raid-0, beating the 85000 IOPS rated Force 3. There might be errors and other factors I'm not taking into account.

Which do you think I should go for?

What about IOPS read, write at 4k? How would they compare?

Looks like both X25-M's are already sold under 2 hours. Never mind then.

Vertex 4 sounds real good, has 5 year warranty and awesome performance.

X25-M G2 doesn't have garbage collection, just TRIM. Use the Force.
