    My first SSD and have no idea what to do...

    I have a Rampage II Extreme with an I7 920 at 3.8ghz. and just got a 96gb Kingston V+ 100-series 2.5" SSD. Its brand new but I got it really cheap so I wanna try it out.. What settings do I need to have everything set at. Im at a total loss. Thanks for any help guys.

    Nothing, other than making sure AHCI is on and Defrag is disabled.

    What about this thing called TRIM? and what about hybernation file? and the pagefile? sry i just have no clue about things i have to change

    What he said. Even defrag should be disabled automatically by Windows.
