    I went from a 5GHz i5 to a 5.05GHz i7. My i7 has been folding for the last 20 hours like a champ! I did have to get a bigger liquid cooler than I previously had. Very worth it.

    When you said you were going for a 'bigger' CPU I thought you were switching to socket 2011. Not just one that hadn't been laser cut.

    I was going to, but I'm going to do that later. I went to Fry's to fill my immediate need to put something in it for now. lol.

    I was thinking I'd get a Core i7 3930k, but I'm gonna wait for the Ivy Bridge.

    If it helps I don't think Intel will make an Ivy Bridge - E, Haswell is probably going to make such a move illogical.
