Beer goes well with popcorn and my sweet wife doesn't like it.
Anyway there is

I got them installed with a fresh OS.
Not too impressed.... Using either afterburner or precision x, I have not been able to clock them higher than +100 core +550 mem @ +132% w/ volts @ stock or 1.175v.....
This leaves me with a 3dmark 11 score lower than the 7970's (which is in my sig). Here-> http://3dmark.com/3dm11/3185121 CPU was at 5.0ghz even though it shows 4.2ghz.
Anything higher than +100 core gets me a driver kernel stopped responding error. Anyone know of a work around or tweak that I am unaware of? Disable power states, voltage mod or driver tweak?
Maybe if I switched the cards around I could get a higher clock having the other one as primary? Temps under load dont push 60'c with custom fan profile.
Need some help, at this rate these 680's are going back.
Help?

Did you try lower memory? Set memory to stock and see how high the core will go then raise the memory later.
If that doesn't work you could have just got a bad cardTry one at a time to see.

Like he said lower you memory clock. Most of the cards reach 1200 GPU clock, so should yours too.
Try new relesed Version 3.0.2 EVGA precision . Power target is right at 132%, but core clock should be at least + 150.

Yeah, I left my Mem at +0 until I found my max gpu clock. I was using the 3.02 version of precisionx. Cant budge the core past +100.
Getting pretty bummed, will try cards individually to see max clocks for each and I will try reversing the cards and putng the bottom one in the top slot.
BTW- +100 with good temps = 1187mhz stable.

I think you should raise memory starting +200 when raise core + 120 and see what happen.
Also testing cards separately is interesting to see if one is holding the second one.
EDIT
I see temps are good with 1187Mhz stable. That is a good sign for more oc, EVGA is brand i like the most and cards overclockers wery well.

Not a max so not official but after switching to a z77 motherboard I upgraded to 301.24 drivers. Gives a few hundered even at a much lower CPU overclock.

BTW second card waiting on me at UPS trying to decide if I want to keep it.
