    Re: Playstation Vita

I am having fun with Uncharted, seems as though I never owned a PS3 that I may have missed alot of the story to explain this drake character. He seems more like a Lara Croft but more of a scientist. I also have MVC3 but have not put as many hours into that, really what I want is Mortal Kombat and then I will be all set.

Uncharted is a fantastic series. If you get a chance, try to at least try out the 2nd or 3rd, they are incredibly polished, fun, and gorgeous.

I am really looking forward to some sandbox style games on the Vita. GTA or Assassin's Creed on the go would be incredible.

[yes] GTA would be a day 1 purchase for me.

    Re: Playstation Vita

Pulled my Vita out the of the case this morning and the notification was stuck on and the system was unresponsive.

Had to hold the power button for 20 seconds to get it to restart. Same thing that happened with my first one. [cursing]

Oh well, time to update the firmware, yet again, for the 3rd time in a couple weeks.

    Re: Playstation Vita

Does anybody know if the Mortal Kombat Vita will have the single player story mode also? Also - I see the Vita gets its first FPS come end of the month, Burning Skies. I have only seen multiplayer so far, and if the game is just multiplayer only I may pass but I guess the price point will determine that for me.

    Re: Playstation Vita

I just picked up Mortal Kombat, it is excellent! The character models are a lower res than the console which is exactly what I expected, but the gameplay is spot on and fluid and this was what I have been waiting for the Vita!

    Re: Playstation Vita

The Vita has some interesting things happening this year. I see that Final Fantasy VII will be coming with the firmware upgrade as well as many other PSOne classics. At this point in time I would take that over a HD remake if given the choice of none at all. That and PS All Stars will also come and be cross platform.

    Re: Playstation Vita

I purchased a Vita, mainly because it'd been a long time since I'd had a portable gaming device other than my phone. It seems like a solid device, but I think I completely overestimated my portable gaming needs. I haven't touched it much at all recently.

Funny thing is, out of the three games I purchased, I've invested the overwhelming majority of my time playing Lumines. I didn't really expect that.
