am i the only one that thinks the single player for BF3 was AWFUL ?!?!

i finished the BF3 single player campaign. not because i loved every minute, but because i dislike starting a game and not finishing it.

talk about a rail shooter. MW2 might have been a rail shooter, but at least it was fun.

and what was with the dragon's lair type of boss fights ?
e, space, right mouse click, etc. they made no sense. what a super lame way to have a fight.

and boring, did i mention boring ? there seemed to be more walking around and crawling than there was fighting.

at least the multi player is a blast.

if you haven't played the single player campaign, you have been warned.

BTW DICE, if you are gonna make a single player campaign, make it good. it can be short, but make it fun and exciting. or don't make it at all, and just focus on multi player.

I haven't played the single player at all. MP is where it's at. Always has been for BF games.

I went through it for the trophies but tbh can't remember any of the plot at all now.

DICE did a good campaign in Bad Company helped by the personalities of the characters; BC2 was not so good.

I enjoyed BF3's singleplayer, I just treated it like an action movie and had a good time. There's some pretty stunning graphics to behold as well.

Kinda neat seeing the likeness of the actor who plays Aaron Pierce from 24 in the cutscenes, he's also the over-the-radio commander in Modern Warfare 2, great voice for that sort of thing.

It was OK for what it was, except for the enemies' fixation on focusfiring the player whenever he's in line of sight.

Hmmm definately not the best part of the game. Also I despise those "quick time events" "press space to win" etc.

I was bored with single player as well, but it's at least better than COD's campaign modes that are just stupid and so over the top it is comical.

lol yes I actually laughed a couple of times at the ridiculous over the top-ness off it sometimes.... Jets swooping around stuff flying into you from every direction explosions everywhere it is ridiculous hahah... It is aimed at 13 yr olds not adult gamers tbh and the gameplay is soooo boring. I think this is the worst of the 3 MW games.... The first was ok then the second was worse and the 3rd is even worse...
