    HELP!! is 1000W PSU enough?

    will my HX1000W corsair PSU suffice for a 5970+5870 with a 125W cpu? i have 2 hard drives and about 4gb ram

    Even a 750 watt psu will be fine let alone a 1K watter.

    Whole system with 2 5970's barely pulls over 500 watts at load.

    Screw the watt's, Its more about amp's on the rails for the hardware your packing.

    That PSU is overkill.

    that is a really good PSU.

    using that too

    and i used to have GTX580 TRI sli
    with it
    it works perfect

    and 3 months ago, i used 7970 tri fire for 6 days.

    it works..!!

    if you go read review of this PSU,,
    some said it is really close to a 1200W in performance.
