    7970 memory issue?

    Hi peeps,

    Just a quick one.

I uploaded my pc specs via a program from a website and realised that it said that I only had 1.76gb ram on my Gigabyte 7970?

So I checked dxdiag and it confirms it:

Name: AMD Radion HD 7900 Series
    Manufacturer: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
Chip Type: ATI display adapter (0x6798)
    DAC Type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
    Approx. Total Memory: 1764 MB
    Current Display Mode: 1920x1200 (32bit) (60Hz)
    Monitor: Acer LCD Monitor V243W

    GPU-Z is showing 3GB?

Who is right, or what is going on here? Im a bit of a noobie still with this stuff.

OS is Windows 7 Professional if thats any help.

Thanks in advance for any help and advise :)
