Multi card has never been my thing, still a great price if someone is looking for a budget gaming card

    Re: 78xx reviews are out!

    I found the cards dissapointing...

but mostly because I was hoping for a good $200 - $250.00 option.

I settled with the GTX 560TI.

It's price went up within 24 hours of my purchasing it....

I have a feeling alot of people were in the same position as me hoping for a good $200 videocard.

Ati has the $350 - $550 price point dominated, not sure why they don't want to take over $100-$300 range.

I ordered a Gigabyte 7850 OC (975Mhz core/1200Mhz mem) and sold my GTX 460, can't wait to see what difference is to be experienced

With some vcore tuning you could get it to 1.2-1.25ghz core.

Did you read that in one of those reviews mentioned in the first post ? I'll look at them at work but I didn't see that anywhere, except if you meant the 7870.

I don't know. But people have done it here:

    http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/sho...389760&page=31

I am seriously thinking one of these will be faster than my SLI 460GTX, especially as I am watercooled... a 7850 should do well under water

Thanks for the link, I was under the impression that the 7850 was generally a poor clocker, I'll be sure to try some of the stuff in that thread

I know, its the awesome clocks that are making me think its worth getting just one of those with 2gb of ram should be better for me running at 1440p.
