    Score enquiry GTX560 Ti DirectCU TOP & i7 2600k

    Hey there,

I'm just asking for some clarification on where P4974 is normal score for this system. The Card is overclocked out of the box 900MHz

Just for some clarity prior to the 560Ti i had a GTX460 786mb that scored P3432 with this system:

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz
    RAM x2 Corsair PC3-10700H (667 MHz) 4096 MBytes
    Mainboard Model Z68X-UD3P-B3
ASUS DirectCUII TOP Geforce 560Ti 1GB Default Clock 900MHz Memory 1050MHz Shader 1800Mhz

    http://3dmark.com/3dm11/2860307

I've only ran once, nothing is overclocked currently.

Though the system seems pretty fast and since i upgraded the card i can run BF3 at 1080 ultra which seems pretty smooth in 64 player servers. However am i able to overclock my system safely do you think without having to upgrade the cooling, the case is quite big and has multiple fans.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

That score looks good. What cooler do you have on the 2600k?

Edit: Just reread what you said and it seems you're still using the "stock" cooler. While I don't recommend overclocking with a stock cooler, it's still possible if you're not upping the volts. Just be careful and watch the temps. I'd try to stay under 80c full load.
