Poor texture quality *and* no dynamic lighting. Took me a long time to figure out what was "off" with Rage except the texture res and the answer is... lighting.Honestly, if this is the Tech5 engine, then it could have potential. Sure Rage did not meet expectations, but that was primarily because of poor texture quality and the story elements, not because of a flaw in the engine itself.
As long as they learned their lesson from the complaints people had with previous games, this could be a game to own.
You just can't ship a AAA-game in 2012 with static pre-baked lighting & shadows only...
