    7970....Anyone else have weird flicker...

On the bottom of the screen while using a web browser? I've read that it's due to the really low idle clocks, but I haven't been able to fix it. Although a reboot does make it go away for a while....

I tried changing the default clocks in the XML and setting up a profile, but it doesn't seem to work.

I didn't have this problem with my previous 5870....Could it have something to do with using a sound card in the second pci-e 16x slot? (Don't think so, but who knows....)

Edit: Seems to be okay at the moment, changed the idle core clock from 157 to 300.

Turn off Hardware acceleration on your browser or keep the idle clocks at 300. More than likely your browser needs more core speed on the gpu or voltage or it artifacts.

I haven't had any bottom screen flicker since I've changed the Idle clocks to 300/300, but I still get an occasional full screen flicker or middle line in the center of my screen. Doesn't matter if a browser is open or not.

And I haven't had hardware acceleration enabled on the browser since that feature was released.

    There's zero artifacts as well.
