Vita OLED Splodges issue (Did I get Lucky?)

I hear that most people see a problem with "splodges" being seen on the loading screen playing uncharted, I haven't noticed that myself.

So I just made a black .png picture and copied it to my Vita. It looks like the Vita is turned off to me when looking at the pic, I turned off the lights in the room and It isn't giving off a hint of light.

I'm wondering If anyone else, who has noticed this issue, can test this. I'm not sure If I got lucky or this test just doesn't show the OLED flaw.

Nope. Played F1 2011 for 2 hours last night. Never noticed anything.

I had the screen defects as well as the freezing issue on my last Vita.

There was a line running half way down the screen and I saw what looked like heinous image retention during the loading screen.

Also, sometimes it would freeze while it was in sleep so I couldn't wake it up. (Was on the latest system update)

Now that I have replaced it, the screen looks great and I hoping for no more freezing. My co-worker's that I borrowed over a week had neither of those issues and I used it every day.
