Foreign Films - Native Audio or subs?

I like to watch in the foreign language with English subs.
Also I think that Pan's Labyrinth is the great movie.

Native audio with subs. I even make my little girl watch all the disney movies in english cuz i cannot stand the dutch voices. That and lip sync drives me mad [cursing]

Depends on the movie. A few comedy movies just wouldnt work in their native language for me. And there was a certain "absurd nonsense" style of dubbing french and english comedy movies in the 60s, 70s and 80s they are totally funny in their german dubbed version.

Drama, action and historical movies are better in their original language because dubbing them takes away too much from the actors performance.

Then there are movies that are great either way. Tropic Thunder is great in its english original version, but the german dubbing is extremely funny too. Same with the Highway movies from the 80s. The OV is funny as hell, but they did a good job with dubbing the movies back then.
