    Thanks Microsoft

Decide to by MSOffice 2010 (64 bit version). Went to the UK site, but it forced me to the NL site as I live in NL. No problem I thought, I can get through the buying process in NL no worries.

Get through it to the download option, then when I click to download, there is no choice over the lanuguage, *BAM* I'm downloading the Dutch version whether I like it or not...

So, I download and install. Of course all the menu options are in Dutch. Go to language settings, and select the language for user interface to be "same as your windows install". My windows install is English.

No joy, everything is still in Dutch. Only thing thats changed is that the button tooltips are now in English.

So I give in a decide to pay an etra 25 euro to download the English language pack. No options during the payment / download process - I just get one download link, job done.

Go to install my dowloaded language pack, only to be told I can't install it as my install of office is 64bit, whereas the language pack is only for 32bit versions. There was no option during the buying process of the language pack to select 64bit version.

Guess I'll be calling MS tomorrow then....:grumpy:

Downloading from that link now, but its painfully slow...

Of course that means I'll have to do a full uninstall of my Dutch version first I guess.....

So basically the language pack is a scam, unless you need to have two languages installed at once....

I did, but the download was 32bit (it did not give me an option).

and as per my above post - the language pack is basically a scam anyway, unless you need two languages installed at the same time. I was able to download the English version of office 2010 and use my key no problem at all...

    Stupid MS.
