You know.... I read all the pros and cons in this thread. The jury is not out so I ordered another 6GB for my system so I'll have a total of 12GB. I will report back when I get it and let you know. At the very least I will have 12GB and my e-penis could use the boost.
why have 6 though? alot of new boards are maxed out at 32 to 64GB Just upgrade to 12 or 24GB its not even expensive.

You totally need 24 gigs. I had 16 gigs and Windows 7 was really slow and would crash all the time.
We have been laughing about that on these forums since we were doing the 512mb vs 1gB debate 11 years ago.
Well that's it, just installed another 6GB. I posted this post faster than any other post I have posted.
He didn't really say it, he was actually referring to the limit of 640K memory in early IBM chips, the 186 and the 286.
