Too bad the PSVita can't run this benchmark with it's extremely powerfull SGX543MP4+. It would be nice to see Sony's €250 handheld put a €600 tablet (TF Prime) and a €500 smart phone (Galaxy Nexus) to shame.

Yeah sure it's CPU is also a quad core Arm Cortex A9-MP but it also has a quad core GPU PowerVR SGX543MP4+. Seeing Apple's A5 beating the **** out of the Tegra 3 in graphics benchmarks while only having dual core PowerVR SGX543MP2 that should give an insight into the horse power in the PSVita.

It also runs at a lower resolution than both of them with only a fraction the functionality.

Well it would be a bit crap if it didn't considering it's a dedicated gaming handheld...

For now. Once this thing gets some good homebrew support it'll be able to do everything except place phonecalls through AT&T. If it doesn't do what you want it too, you will then be able to make it do it by creating your own app.
It'll be very interesting to see how homebrew takes off on this device. I would not be surprised to see Gingerbread and/or ICS on it in the future.

Just ordered my Rezound. Will be interesting to see how well it does against my Touchpad. Update that to the latest Alpha ICS.
Touchpad 1024x600 with Alpha ICS vs Rezound 1280x720 with Gingerbread. Same hardware. Will be an interesting battle. [yes]

    Re: Your mobile benchmarks!

Just ran the Electopia benchmark. Phone is stock other than just being rooted.

    At 12x7 I got 24fps vs Touchpad # 10x6 getting 28.5fps.

Not that I don't "love" my Gnex but. I've been wondering if I should've got the Note instead.
