How did you make money as a kid?

I was a paper boy.....once I was old enough. Before that it was just pocket money from my parents.

Allowance, which wasn't much, mowing lawns in the summer, shoveling snow in the winter, and other assorted chores that were "above and beyond" what my parents expected.

Gardening for old folk, washing cars, painting and decorating, Golf caddying and shooting vermin.

Lawn mowing, carrying luggage, cutting firewood, washing cars, etc.
Most of it was paid chores for the family and hotel

Just did chores around the house for an allowance. Once I hit 16 I worked retail.

I started off as a Paperboy.

During this time, I was 'obtaining' porno mags from the shop, then selling to guys at school.

I moved on from this to selling 'official' Lacoste shirts.

I also went back to selling porn, but this time on VHS. My father had a movie rental store, so I would make copies at night, then sell them in school during break times.

I also for a short period of time, sold bags of tobacco (passing them off as weed) to the 'uninformed' end users...
They would always come back for more, they could swear they were stoned!

Yeah, I sure made my mother proud!



I eventually grew a brain and got a 'real' job, albeit through a relative. I became a market trader. Did that until I was 18....

Hmm, I'm 33 now and looking back, man did I have some fun.... lol
