    That is poor logic. Just because you don't celebrate a given holiday doesn't change the name of the objects associated with that holiday.

    I don't celebrate Hanukkah but I don't call a Hanukkah a holiday candle holder.

    You're fussing over the proper names of things and you can't even get its name right! It's not called "a Hanukkah," it's a menorah. And its use is exclusive to religious ritual, unlike the holiday tree, which is secular.
