What do you burn your CD's/DVD's with?

Im really looking for a software that supports many formats but I dont wont Nero as it has become way to bloated and big.

I know this software but I dont like the fact that it trys to ring "home"

I do block it with my firewall and it doesn't feel professional enough interface is way to simple for my likings.

Another vote for ImgBurn , powerful little program with tons of options and it has a very light footprint too

Does it support Nero and PowerISO standards?

I have used imageburn as well. But I am so damn used to Nero. I jus bought a copy of Burning ROM for $39.00 CAD. I like the interface and if you get Burning ROM only, it's not such a pig.

What kind of stuff do you need to burn? Just images?

I use PowerISO to burn image discs. Super simple and I have never had a bad disc from it. It also supports a ton of file formats.
