I used to loathe it as a child. As an adult, I love it. I enjoy the ones that are festively shaped like pumpkins and whatnot.

Candy corn sweat? Hmm... no that would be be messy and a bit dangerous I'd imagine. I thought candy corn may have not made it over to the isle so I included the picture. Tastes like slightly muted sugar; a taste that is apparently it's offensive to a bunch of people.Originally Posted by Bungle

I meant sweet (as in candy).
YAY for me, I dont go out of my way to eat it, but it tends to be around me this time of year and when it is i grab some every time i see it. Not the best candy but addictive none the less.
Depends on the age of a batch. A fresh brand new candy corn that is all soft and chewy is alright. I could eat a couple, but they're basically just a lump of sugar and syrup so I can't take more than a few.
The candy corn that has been sitting around in some bowl forever and is as hard as a rock (99% of all candy corn you will ever encounter) is horrible beyond description, and probably responsible for all of the candy corn hatred out there.
Its the same story for Fruitcake.
Candy corn is amazing. Its especially good eating out of the freezer. Its about the only sweet I eat in the fall and I will eat several pounds worth between October and November and then not at all the other 10 months of the year. [thumbup]
Its especially good with black coffee.
