Re: Anyone got Forza 4 yet?

if any of u complain that this game doesn't feel that realistic it's cause they can only do so much with the physics processing engine... if it causes FPS drop = bad....

they gotta cap that limit.. to preven that.. therefore realism peak is like not reached.. maybe 1/3 when it gets to a point..

need a pc to get closer but even games like iracing.. with the feel I see isn't linked entirely to the wheel for some reason.. shift 2.. same thing..

I see my wheel position not being 1:1 in game as wheel.. only game that is closest is Race 07 and LFS.. everything else isn't near.. it's either Delayed or never registers 1:1 position.. in extreme racing conditions it takes precise front wheel position as well as proper tire defromation and weight transfer energy as well as chassis "flex" and other factors like wind.. that the game does not process.. sure they can leave it out but I know those small factors like a skid mark on the ground.. a tiny pot hole.. and oil trace.. a small rock in the grass can attribute a crash/fail situation that results in the driver being seriously injured or fatal.. and the car being completely totaled..

in the game.. same situation where those factors rn't there.. pass no crash clean race.. real life.. fail die lose it all

still I feel racing helps alot from my personal experience racing in real life and drifting is wayyyyy easier in real life than the PC.. not really cause of the g-force but the fact those other factors that keep the car going straight r there..

randoming icing.. my words.. is why "simulation" isn't entirely realistic..

honestly I was thinking what type of game is this.. and it's funny cause its in real life.. : P

I found one more, clean uncompressed video, still low res though. Man to game in something that low res after all the HD gaming I've had. I don't know if I could go back!

A 35th Anniversary Camaro SS on Pacific Shipyards

I hope they re-release Tokyo Circuit and Rio De Janeiro for Forza4 as a DLC track. I loved those two tracks. Tokyo Circuit really catered to the smaller cars with its super tight hairpin and chicanes.

If you disable the rewind you get 20% boost to credit income.

Oh **** there is an option to disable it? I didn't see that in the difficulty settings, I just turned off all the assists and started racing lol.

Next time I play I'll go take another look. I must of missed that. Thanks for the tip! [thumbup]

I disable as much as I can get away with. As I learn the tracks I disable more.

But I always disable ABS, TCS, STM, steering assist...etc.

I really hate the braking assist it kept turning itself on in the demo every time I'd start it up. Annoying to be ripping down the track coming up on a slower car, slipstreaming...and suddenly have the wind cut from my sails as auto-brake decided I was going to hit him. [thumbdown]

Just picked up the Limited Edition, and also got a Subura Impreza WRX STI as a bonus car for pre-ordering.

I got tons of cars at the start. First was the Forza 3 level 50 reward, then the Forza 3 Rare cars gift and last Forza 3 (?) VIP membership gift.

Ok this may be a silly question, but I am in the main career mode, finished a few races and won credits, and have got discounts on upgrade parts and such. I do not see where I can actually upgrade my car with stuff at? I only can find the tuning menu, but not where I can buy parts.

Press the back button, you can also buy cars there too.

I am loving the pace of the career mode, it just flows so well. You do a race, then either decide to use the same car or another one and it will decide on a race based on your choice. It is so much improved on Forza 3, not only that but the cars don't spin you out of control all the time if they hit you.
