Would you want to ride in a car that drove itself?

Were not talking about a car that parks itself. Were talking about a car that totally and completely drove itself. Now of course manual overrides are possible for emergencies but for the most part you are not driving the car 90% of the time.

Are you allowed to drink whisky and smoke cigars while it drives you some where?

Sure, I'll ride it. I'd want to ride the car myself as well though. I think a car that drives itself is something similar to cruise control or automatic gears: you might not want it, but when you do try it it's suddenly a joy!

I wouldn't want to quit riding cars and bikes myself though.

In a heartbeat. If I survive the inevitable crash, I'll sue the auto company and be set for life.
