"Under investigation" means that it has been logged to our database of open issues and our QA testers will look into it and should they duplicate the issue, it is then tossed to the code guys for figuring out as to what causes it.
This process can take quite a while (weeks) as the code guys are hard at work on other projects, so it is not like they are sitting around waiting for a new bug to pop up to tackle.
I cannot provide any quick answers other than "you should reboot your PC before each benchmark run, as it states in the users guide" and "we'll investigate and, should this be a reproducible issue in our benchmark we'll look into fixing it".
For what it's worth, it does sound like a real problem, especially as the result links suggest that your GPU is, for some odd reason, running at a far lower clocks than it should for heavy 3D (for the run that gives way too low score). If this is the root cause and if, for example, it turns out it is tied to your specific video card model (or specific card vendor), it may turn out to be some kind of a driver issue that leaves the GPU running at "power saving" clocks for some reason.
