Replacement for Download.com.

What are people's suggestions for an alternative to Download.com?

i.e. a vast (all encompasing?) library of software, very well known, trusted site with a malware-free guarantee (I expect they all do that now).

Recently, everything I try to download from Download.com either fails, or tries to give me some kind of installer or downloader instead of the proper file, so I'm abandoning it.

I keep coming across Softpedia.com when I'm looking for software and I've used it a few times. Although it might seem a little amateurish, it definitely has a vast selection of software and a simple and to-the-point layout.

So, what are everyone's thoughts?

I use http://www.filehippo.com a lot, it even has an auto update checker you can download, saves looking for a lot of updates.

^ Filehippo is basically all I use. Or directly from software producers own websites.

Same here, Filehippo all the way. For about 3 or 4 years now.

When I need a utility or some program I frequent, I type it in google and put filehippo after it. Direct to the download and no hassle registration, and minimal advertising.
