Hello, I have a spare machine now that I just bought a new laptop that I wanted to turn into a multiple OS testbox/classic gaming possibly.
Currently setup
160GB HD
Partition 1, 50GB: Win7 Pro x86
Partition 2, 25GB: Need to install WinXP Pro x64
Partition 3, 25GB: Need to install Win2k SP4
Unallocated 48.91GB: Need to install Ubuntu 64bit
Now what would be the best way to get all of these installed on specified partitions without messing up the boot loaders? I know the most successful way is to start with the oldest and work up, but too late for that.....lol. I started with Win7 because I wanted it to be the primary OS to boot into (and was easiest partitioning with).
There are many guides online telling you how to recover the boot after installing XP after windows 7. I did that a year ago but I no longer have the link.
Now for windows 2000 I don't know how to fix it, but I'm guessing the same method works.
As for ubuntu install it last, it will automatically set the boot loader correctly.
