In that case I assume the test is actually using ATI/AMD card for hardware assisted transcoding/decoding. I think there is an option to disable that somewhere in the drivers. If you can't find it, I'll look it up and get back to you.
I too have trouble finishing the first test, it stops at 2/7 Storage Gaming then says it's fininshing the results to be sent to futurmark and my final score is 0. Any idea?
My spec is Intel Q6600@3ghz, MSI Neo2-FIR Slot-775 mobo, Windows 7 64-bit and the latest AMD Radeon 6xxx 12.4 graphic drivers.

Hard to say. Do you have enough free space on OS drive? (not that much.. 1 GB I think is enough)?
Beyond that, there will be a patch to PCMark 7 in the near future and it will include more detailed logging of failures - if the problem persists after patch, the logs might then show more...
New install Windows 7 Home Premium on Asus M4N75TD with Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT card loops on transcoding test. Sits at last test for 10 minutes with nothing but video in loop.

Assuming all the drivers are up to date, it would seem that there is something wrong with the hardware-assisted video transcoding/playback with your card. At the moment I have no solution beyond the fact that a patch for PCMark 7 is coming soon that will allow controlling of the hardware assisted transcoding (on/off) for situations where the hardware-assisted playback fails to work correctly.
