...problem sending the commad...

Today I bumped my clocks and ran Vantage and was very happy with the results.

However, when I chose Submit Results AND/OR Submit Saved I got the following error.

There was a problem sending the command to the program.

For some reason Vantage is trying to use IE, even though Dragon is my Default Browser. This is a secondary issue I would like to resolve.

So, how do I Submit Results?



By the way, I realize that the screen shot doesn't show a score. That's because the program froze when I first tried to Submit, so I relaunched it and tried to Submit Saved.

DRAGON IS MY DEFAULT BROWSER and it did work as of a couple weeks ago when I first built the new rig.

anyone else? maybe someone from FM?

I can state that 3DMark Vantage was never tested with Dragon browser. It has been tested with Chrome and works with that. I don't know what the actual differences between Dragon and Google Chrome are, but it would appear that something is messing things up.

I have filed a bug report on this but for now, the only workaround I can offer is "don't use Dragon as your default browser if it doesn't work".

Thanks for the help. I made IE 32bit my default browser and the results were submitted. I think it's unfortunate that I had to go that route, though. But, whatever. Maybe, because of your bug report, FM might release a hotfix to allow submittal through more browsers.

At this time we do not know if this is due to 3dmark or due to Dragon browser but I have filed a report and we'll investigate.

Considering that this is just the benchmark telling the OS "start up default browser and go to this URL", it is highly likely that this is an issue with Dragon browser.
