is there any way possible of getting SH modding tools or something around this? I think the game would have lots more potential for players if people made their own maps/guns for everyone to use.

This has been discussed very often throughout the lifetime of this game. The most probable reason that there won't be any mod tools is that they would require too much resources to make for a too small community to work with.

bullcrappuzino, if Logan can mod this game, how hard is there to open small tweaks for community, i really doubt that:D

But of course modding would hurt delicate balance of game, like Last Stand have done for peoples K/D

Last Stand is excellent for camping with your teammates, but i feel bad because people are getting 10/1 kd with it in hardest difficulty:D

@Revive: Taking something game developers (experts) use for their work and making/implementing it into a noob-friendly tool is a nearly impossible task... Its hard enough to explain something to a... lets be polite, beginner player/developer, is hard enough, but making a tool for that person, to be able to understand it and use it... Thats just... !

I think I've been misunderstood. FM should NOT make an SDK. The job would be too much work for too few people to be used by even less.

I also think that SH is still a new IP and needs to be carefully developed. I have no doubt that there will be follow up game with a proper story mode. When that happens, then I will start bugging FM about an SDK for mapping.
