    My fav falls between medium and medium rare I think. It's really difficult for someone else to get it just right for my taste, what I would consider perfect. To me, rare if disgusting. But if someone likes it that way, I sure won't tell 'em any different. :)

    Rare. Anything past medium rare shouldn't even be an option at any respectable steak house.

    Or as Anthony Bourdain admonishes: “Whoever asks steaks to be cooked well done from my restaurant, I would give them shoe leather. They’re practically similar.”

    Its true!
    I read it in a Medical Journal years ago, I've just tried googling it, but even though loads of pages state it, I couldn't find any medical websites that I could 100% state that I trust.

    Its not just undigested meat though, its "plaque" that's built up on the colon walls over the years and other things that are laying around stuck in the stomach and intestines.

    These "sites" wouldn't all be trying to sell you stuff would they?

    All you have to do is ask an M.D. that does Autopsies (Anatomic Pathologist). I used to do Medical Transcription, and my bosses, that signed these 7ppg. autopsy reports laughed at my query when I asked them about the Info-mercial claim. They NEVER found red meat in the intestines, clogged, or lodged, or rotting there NEVER. The only meat found was (what the patient had eaten that day) a few hours before their untimely death!
    What rubbish, and what idiot would believe that?

    OK, I'll try to put this delicately..Before you have a colonoscopy you are required to "cleanse" your colon with certain products the day before. If you have ever done this, you become acquainted with the workings of your digestive system (Oh, Hi broccoli I had yesterday). If you've seen photos on TV of a colonoscopy, you know that after one day of cleansing, your colon is squeeky clean, so those stories about stuff built up are ridiculous.

    "Rare" is how the PERFECT steak is supposed to be eaten? LoL, I'd never eat rare meat. In my opinion medium is the best way of eating a great quality steak. medium well is okay too.

    T-bone medium -> my favorite
