Very very odd. I would have to venture a guess that some other program, update or other change to your system is affecting something but I'm at a loss what such a thing would be.

Probably. We are working on some back-end upgrades and until they are done, the latest hardware (basically, anything new to the market in past 6 months) have poor or nonexisting estimates. We hope to resolve this issue in the next few weeks.

i also got the same problem here.. my system is Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (build 2600) what is the solution? i have no idea about this..

We have duplicated this with the download getting corrupted and a faulty exe being cached in your download directory. You could clear your temporary files and see if that helps.

Alternatively you can download and install the same thing manually;

Run that, then run game-o-meter again.

I have the same problem too but when i installed it and then run the gom it doesnt register it so it continues to try and install the corrupt one

any suggestions?

Hi, I have tried running game-o-meter on three different machines with all of them returning the same error message. I have tried on both Firefox and Chrome, the latest versions of each installed. I have also tried the way you have asked us to do, bu downloading and installing the file. However, even then it tells that the setup_FMSI.exe in the temp folder is not a valid Win32 application. This is getting utterly frustrating.[cursing][help]

As of now, I am going to run procmon and see whether it reveals anything that may be useful for me.
