I can't remember I said anything about "maxed out". One of my friends cannot even play the game with his 5850 + phenom 2 x4 925 without hickups... The GTX 450 is not even as fast (IIRC).
Anyway, that is off the point.

I just hope there will be lots of new players, that actually STAY.

Sort of todays review for AUS servers --
    • The main question was "how to I change loadouts".
    • Some players asked how to boost.
    • Some players asked how to zoom.
To be fair though any player that leaps into a game without looking at the options at all deserves my fist to come flying through their screen.

The overall reaction was good, a few players (who were low as rank wise) were pushing people to buy the game and play (where those players have been though...).

Some said they were going to buy SH, so huzzah.

Edit - A few players commented on Classic SH.

The most annoying thing about new players.

At any rate, since there seem to be a decent amount of players, is there any way we could show them SH classic?

I don't think there's enough servers to accommodate all these guys!

Every server in the browser is populated and near full!

Hasn't been like this since launch, nice to actually play a full 32 player match again :D

It was like it all the last free weekends, but after a few weeks everyone vanishes each time. Hopefully a few guys stay this time...

Agreed, poor old 7300LE has no chance of running this.

    I would like to remind that if servers are full, anyone can start up their own - dedicated server files can be found under Steam tools tab or downloaded separately (no steam client required) from the official site;

If I had a good upload I would host a server or two, but my upload is to weak you will all lag.

LAG has 2.5 more players than SH actually (2.5K for 1K), and it's the peak of the day for the numbers of players on STEAM.

Probably due to lower system requirements and DX9 compatibility. Not much we can do about that.
