Really looking forward to your thoughts on this one and how they compare to the 7900gt's

Those who remain AGP are usually ones with relatively new pc, 3400+ A64 or P4 LGA755. We don't feel like upgrading whole machine just for PCI-E because our pc is relatively new. When 754, 939, LGA755 was first released there wasnt PCI-E yet, too bad for us who bought the new cpu when its first out, if we waited a few month there would be PCI-E [no] I think nvidia will still have great market if they release 7900GS AGP, ATi should also make X1900 AGP, they can be limited amount, but there is market for it

buying AGP card = buying a PCI-E card and CHEAP mobo, but don't forget, getting a new 24 pin mobo also means i have to get a new PSU, that adds additional cost as good PSU cost hundreds!

there are many of us who arn't hardcore PC enthusiast who upgrade every 3 month

Those with A64 and P4 LGA775 can buy new mobo + pcie version of the same high end card for cheaper than the agp card is, and keep rest of their rigs, i don't see your point

the PCI-E mobo would be CHEAP quality if I want to fit in the budget, I have a quality 200dollar mobo, why would I bother with the CHEAP 50dollar mobo that only has PCI-E on it?

    Don't forget a new 24pin PSU

or people generally whine about pci...exp......ok penny droped you mean generally people whine about it
i see, ye your right and they whine cause it sucks,
its a sad day when the enthusiastic gamer realises what an elite sport pc gaming is and that it requires vast amounts of liquid cash every year just to keep playing at the rez you are accostomed to
    and that makes them bitter,

    Don't forget a new 24pin PSU
    Because a £40 ECS A939 will do above 300HTT.

You dont need a 24pin psu either. 20pin would be fine.
