Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

You may have noticed that the recent Prince of Persia movie has drawn in respectable crowds to the movie theaters. UbiSoft wouldn't miss the chance to capitalize on the movie release and came up with Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. So far the sequels to The Sands of Time have all failed to live up to the masterpiece and this time UbiSoft has reportedly gone back to the roots - is Forgotten Sands a worthy sequel or just a movie tie-in rush job?

When you refer to the masterpiece do you mean the first Prince of Persia on PC or Nintendo? I don't know if I recall right but the games after the first one seemed to lack puzzles and bring more timing-missions which was a huge downside.

    PC. The Sands of Time.

The original-original Prince of Persia was, at the time, very good but The Sands of Time is, in my opinion, the pinnacle of the series.

And the Nintendo version was just a port - the first Prince of Persia was originally on the PC and, I think, Apple II.
