    Re: I hate Mountains

Just played it with my mates.

    One word...

    "AWESOME!"...[thumbup]

Really good custom campaign indeed, not surprising considering the same peeps who made Portal:Prelude.

This custom campaign makes L4D1's dlc (Crash Course) like childplay..

Btw, did anyone noticed extra "effects" in that custom campaign?.. apparently it has extra special effects that L4D originally disabled... according to the mod team.

    Cheers

What is Portal: Prelude? I was under the impression that it was a pretty much a demo version of Portal. Is it a mod that adds new levels/a prequel instead?

It's a mod. I think it's similar size to the original portal game, except it is much harder.

    Love me some clutch.

as for the game, never played any of the l4d games, but this looks a lot more interesting than the original. I downloaded the demo for it back in the day and found myself bored in about 10 minutes or so. this looks a little more action packed and equally as mindless. good combo for some fun gameplay.

Argh, makes me really want L4D... all I've ever played were those damn demos...
Hell, I played the L4D2 demo like 8 hours total.

    Re: I hate Mountains

Just played through this campaign last night (though had to finish before playing the finale). This is easily better than the standard campaigns, just awesome! Great forest environments, loved the crypts beneath the church. Loved the atmosphere in the container yard when the rain starts pouring too.

But what's this business of having to disable other expansions and run console commands to get it working properly? Looks like Valve badly need to give these guys (and probably other modders) some support.
