    Have you tried disabling windows aero and see if that fixed it.

    i get the same, press ok and then it runs

    but why do you want to run it on win7?
    win7 is a disaster for 2k1, xp partition is the best (i forget which sp is faster tho)

    It would be nice to get a sticky for all the fixes we have posted. I know it is a old benchmark but we all still use and like it. And this would help others looking for information on it also.

    I ran 3DMark 2001 on each PC I had, and each update.

    I'm now running 3DMark in i7 920 and GTX 670. Just for gore.

    I would like to have this problem solved.
