I still remember my first few days playing in the beta, I was so "pawned" it was frustrating but being determined to learn how to live beyond 10 seconds was the first priority. I think my k/d ratio was .37 after 2 weeks and took a long time to get it over 1.00.

The biggest mistakes new players make are : flying to high, hitting boost too often, shooting in long bursts, not reading anything on forums on how to play, assuming it is like all the other FPS games and jump right into playing against experienced players

That was my experience also when I started playing, my k/d was about 0.2 and it has taken me until now to get up to 1.00.
