Regarding the 1% Arconauts: do you have any stats on what percentage of time they contribute to playing over a sample time period?

Arconauts are pretty much the same as everyone else. Some play A LOT while others play hardly at all.

My only concern is in the second screenshot. A room closed in by walls can make EMP's overpowered... But that may just be a small portion of the map.

The indoor room in screenshot two is only part of a large level that features both indoor and space areas.

- No teaming/grouping structure whatsoever.
People just rush in , get shot, rush in again.. etc etc.
Only when a perimiter has been established by a sufficient number of players in the vicinity you get the group effort feel.

I found it very difficult to employ any strategy other than waiting for somebody else getting shot revealing their pos and going after the assailer.

Our next update, (also coming soon), will add voice chat which should help teams form strategies and coordinate attack and defence.

These screens are wonderful ! Great work FM, guys you really rocks !
I like the indoors ! And the last one is a Moondust-like map, so great fun in perspective !!

But are these screens from ALL the 4 new level or is it just some screens from one or two... nah, forget it ! I wanna have the surprise !

But
Voice chat will allow for some communication wich is very cool.
But will not enable real group tactics.
i.e.
"Watch out!"
"what? where?"
"There! left of the asteroid!"
"You mean the greyish one?"
"Yeah man its the grey floating rock amidst the er... grey floating rocks, but not the biggets one.. the somewhat smaller one.. you cant miss it!"
"Who is this?"
"Im the guy in the spacesuit, next to the asteroid. But not the one hanging upside down, i'm the one floating sideways...depending on your angle of approach afcourse"

If possible there should be somekind of auto team up into small squads when signing in. Then voice could be restricted to squad only or all. Squad leaders could opt to talk to other squad leaders as well.
Something like that. I'm thinking along the lines of Bf2 and BF2142 here.
That really makes it possible to move around as a team.
These games still keep me coming because of the way you can group together and support and give intel.
Otherwise it will just be a team-deathmatch with people just yapping and making wisecracks.

Still.... this is visually one of the best games around.
For now I might just put it on my beamer and spectate like it was a long version of the moonraker space battle.
