I have no problem with them either. I flank them and stab them in the back. I just pity them for not being able to experience what this game really is about: 6DOF fighting.

It would make our Training servers more used... more functional, and they would get scores..
No doubt it would be frustrating to Stab and get no result.. for me that would be no different than a missed (Fail) stab.. would I really know the difference in the game.. pros at stabbing would.. but they wouldn't have these extras long.. you play.. the clock ticks..
K/D ratoi could also be a part of it.. with the same at rank limitations..
To be honest there are tons of tutorials and videos for training, the biggest problem is most new players wont take the time to read even the simplest of instructions on how to play and jump right into the game. Then in the middle of a battle they are asking hundreds of questions, get few answers ( really, I try to help but in the middle of battle typing kills me more than stabs.. )
I like the idea of level or training servers and I had suggested months ago a set up like QuakeLive has where every server is ranked by the players on it, if the experience level is very low, higher ranked players can not enter. If a new player joins an experienced server then it is kinda buyer beware.
This concept works well where a new player can play against equal exp then go play a few rounds against higher ranks then go back ( the result is their game advances much faster).
I'm against giving more damage to lower ranked players as the result (especially with an inexpensive game) due to the exploits that players will use 1 player to learn on and compete with a low ranked noob player for the added benefits with a improved skill set (there are already players with more than 1 valve account).
It's not just new players struggling to play the game though, they should of written DX9 code and supported the most popular resolution. Because of this allot of new players cant even get the game to run never mind find it hard to play online. This would of helped more new players being able to play together instead of getting owned by the veterans.
I would love for this game to become active with tons of players, it sort of happened with the steam deal and a big % of, this was when I brought the game. I got into it and started playing very well with a very good k/d ratio, but as my friends can't play (no dx9 support main reason) I got bored quickly and don't even play now.

Silent you really need to stop hijacking every thread with the DX9 issue, FGS was clear they have no plans to write a new game for it.
I don't HiJack every thread. Only two threads which where on topic so you really need to get your facts straight. Made my point now anyway and I doubt I'll be playing the game again due to these issue's which is a shame as it had potential. So I won't be posting here again.
