Yeah Unwinder is a great guy too bad he isn't coming back to FM forums thanks to certain wankpots who dissed and flamed him for no reason and showed absolutely no respect for him and his work.

    Die mofo's.

Re: Fermi overview at PCPer (No BS)

Not sure if this was posted previously, the Fermi numbers for FC2 have been known for a while, but hexus found out what cpu and system was used and does us a nice compare against the 5870/5970. Linkage.

    EDIT:
Oh there is also a bench for Dark Void, which uses GPU PhysX and the GF100 is more than twice as fast compared to the 285, so lots of help in PhysX games.

Indeed, Hardware Canucks had that info and the additional benchmarks up first.

Any idea what the AA setting was in Dark Void? I could run a duplicate bench to compare against 5870 w/ 8800gtx dedicated physx.

Compare the actual numbers though, they are different, so different benchmarks although using the same applications.

That would be an interesting thing to see. They were using 4xAA according to the link i posted earlier.

I can force AA through ATI control Panel by renaming to ut3.exe (ala BATMAN AA) and I can choose low,med or high Physx in-game. In the Dark Void Benchmark however, Max Physx setting is fixed at low for everyone. According to websites, you can only choose Med or High Physx in the retail game itself. There is no Benchmark option in the full retail game however, So I would need to know what level, etc they based the "Benchmark" on.

As you can see, they are claiming Med Phys setting for Benchmark.
