Yes your total is 36amps but you only have 1 12v line going to the GPU. SO you are only getting 18a max to the GPU and amps are more important than volts.

As an example I have a HX1000 each 12v line is rated for 40amps for a total of 80a. Check with your card vendor or the PSU vendor and confirm it, it loads the game but you haven't stressed it until you play it.

When a graphic card states 24 amps then it means total amps combined so total on my psu is 36 so that means there is a total of 36 amps on the 12 volt rails, and only the GRAPHIC CARD uses the 12 volt rails nothing else uses it just the graphic card so the graphic card has full access to both off the 12 volt rails if the card needs the amps from both off the 12 volt rails which in this case it does NOT need the full 36 amps only 24 amps so that leaves 12 amps spare that the card DOES NOT NEED.

I have only been trying to help you, I think if you look into the PSU you will find it is a dual rail and if you load more than 18a per rail it could explain your issue. Maybe someone else will be able to explain it to you better than I have tried but I think you need a higher amp rail for your setup.
Sorry if you feel different about the attempt at assistance.

But is it not against the law to sell a product that does not work.

The game does work for most of us...

When you go buy a lamp and that one lamp is faulty you usually can get it replaced. But a replacement doesn't work here and Steam (usually) does not give refunds...

How much did you pay for the game? 5 €/$?

If that's the case, why bother, since when/if you upgrade, the game might work and you'll be happy... Is it worth that 5 (insert currency here) to fight Steam to give you a refund?

Though Steam might be happy and give you a refund, might as well try, if you're sure you'll never want to play this game again...

Hi I only payed £3.75 for it so no big deal, but its the point more than the price.not having a product work when all the minimum system requirements are in place, but the game still not working they way it should.I might do what you said and try and get a full refund.

If this happens, please write down the text part of the error and the "0x00000something" code, plus any driver filename that is possibly mentioned (something.sys or .dll) - this could help narrow down what the cause is.

However, if you get a spontaneous SHUTDOWN (power goes off completely), I stll maintain that it must be either a truly bizarre driver issue or a hardware problem with the power supply or the motherboard.
I would like to repeat this post.

Since nobody has posted any information on a bluescreen (indicating a crash of some sort in code), I must assume it is an actual complete shutdown - in which case I'm 99.9% sure that it is a hardware issue of some sort and that goes beyond what we can help with here.

How could it be a hardware issue when 99% of my games run fine, thats including 3D mark vantage and crysis,MW1,MW2,BF2142,BATMAN,DIRT2,NFSSHIFT,FALLOU T3,DOW2.plus a load of other games as well.no crashes at all.
