If your system is completely turning off, it sounds like you have a hardware issue as if it was a software issue, your system would more than likely BSOD and/or restart.

What Id check first are your temps to ensure that your system is not overheating; then the next thing I'd look at is the Power Supply to see if that isnt dying/faulty.

OK thanks for the reply, but it does not do it on others games i play only this one.MW2,crysis,fallout3 all run fine.and even 3D mark vantage runs ok as well.
Sometimes it works,i played it this afternoon for about 1 hour and no problem,as soon as i refresh the server list it cuts off my PC.

Also there might be corrupted file in the SH directory.

Try to verify the Integrity Cache, and/or redownload the game.

    Re: shattered horizon problem

Does the whole system *shut down* or *reboot*?

Shut down = power issue. Basically, the only thing that can cause a spontaneous instant shutdown (all power goes off and stays off) is a power supply triggering a fault protection to avoid damage. Well, that, or a motherboard that somehow triggers the PSU shutdown, but haven't actually heard of such a case ever...

Reboot = you'd have to disable the automatic reboot in Windows control panel/System to get the blue screen up instead of reboot. Then, based on what that blue screen actually says, it might be possible to figure out what the problem is.

yes system shut down completely, but only sometimes it happens. The game sometimes works fine it just when the server list gets refreshed that's when it crashes.

    Thanks for the reply's guys.

To verify the integrity of your game files, follow these steps.

    Open Steam
    Go to My Games tab
Right click on Shattered Horizon, select Properties
    Go to "Local Files" tab
Select "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"

    Hope that helps.
