They messed up on release (Thought they would of learned from AA1 ) released it to early and was stupid to not think about the amount of people trying to download the game, make account and save training all on one auth server at once which ended up overloading and getting in a state. So there was bad lag on release and problems, and still a few bugs now.
But this is a free game and once it's working properly it kicks the crap out of any of the other FPS in terms of realism ( yes including Arma2 which gameplay is a bit naff but has amazing graphics and some other features )
So I didn't complain to much just waited for them to patch the game and fix the auth server because after all this is a free game while you buy a game like Arma2 and it has the same crap on release, full of bugs ( even more then AA3 ) so you have reason to complain and expect more on release and with AA3 they release patches in like 1 or 2 days to fix stuff and will never stop improving the game releasing patches all the time to improve all area's of the game while you wait weeks for patches for games you pay for.
Game works great for me now though and it sure is the best FPS in terms of realism and fun, Arma2 has some better features but overall the gameplay in Arma2 don't come close to this....
