    There's been several ice ages in the past and life has survived. IMO life on Earth won't end completely until the Sun expands and consumes it. That's if you're talking about all life, which it what the poll suggests.

    An ice ages is the likeliest phenomenon to happen before the sun destroys itself; yes it will end life as we know it, which is pretty much what I stated when I said not technically 'the end of the world'. End of the world is of course when the planet gets completely destroyed.
