The thing about SW:TOR that worries me isn't actually anything about the playing of the game; BioWare has a history of providing quality entertainment regardless of whether you agree or disagree with certain developmental decisions. What worries me is Electronic Arts.
EA floating the idea of SW:TOR being microtransaction based worries me, and I can't help but think that the 'Marilyn Manson' Dragon Age: Origins trailer (which seems to have backfired by turning off some of the Baldur's Gate crowd who were following the game) was directly due to EA's PR machine, showing that they can't help but try to pull in different customers to the detriment of existing customers. With regards to the actual game content, I like the Holonet Timeline, though I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't add the third entry (the Mandalorian Blockade) for E3.
That's true but I have no high expectation of the game so I think it will be fine, I just loved that trailer haha..
Though speaking of EA, that always worries..The more money you buy the more features in-game and DRM will cause it to have a slow future..
